The annual conference for 1999 will be held 2 to 5 of June at the Université de Sherbrooke and Bishop's University as part of the 1999 Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities. While proposals on any topic of interest to the Association are being sought, we invite members to consider these themes:
Actors, designers, directors, playwrights and educators are particularly
encouraged to share their work in the form of workshops, performance pieces
or demonstrations.
Proposals in the form of a 250-word abstract should be emailed or mailed
(5 copies please) not later than 15 December 1998 to the address
below.

You will be notified by 15 February 1999 as to whether your paper has been accepted. If your paper is accepted, you must send a copy of your abstract (in both French and English if possible) to the editor of the newsletter before 1 March 1999, for publication in the Spring issue. 1999 Programme Committee: Gregory Reid, Roz Kerr, Bruce Barton
