1.1 Qu'il soit affirmer dans la constitution de l'Association de la recherche théâtrale au Canada/Association for Canadian Theatre Research (ARTC/ACTR), que les langues de fonctionnement de l'exécutif de la susdites association sont le français et l'anglais.

1.2 Cela nécessitera de toute personne désirant participer et se présenter en tant que candidate et candidat à l'exécutif ait un bilinguisme passif.

1.3 Le bilinguisme passif est ici défini comme étant la capacité de comprendre les deux langues officielles de l'ARTC/ACTR, soit le français et l'anglais, à l'écrit et à l'oral, sans nécessairement être à l'aise pour communiquer verbalement dans sa langue seconde.

1.4 Cet amendement a pour but d'assurer que tous les membres de l'association, qu'ils soient anglophone ou francophone, puissent participer à l'exécutif de l'ARTC/ACTR.

1.1 Let it be affirmed in the constitution of the Association de la recherche théâtrale au Canada/Association for Canadian Theatre Research (ARTC/ACTR), that the languages of business of the executive of the aforementioned association will be French and English.

1.2 This affirmation would necessitate that any persons wishing to present themselves as a candidate must be passively bilingual;

1.3 Passif bilinguislism is here defined as the ability to understand both official languages of the ARTC/ACTR, English and French, both written and spoken, without necessarily being at ease to communicate verbally in the one's second language.

1.4. This amendment aims at assuring that all members of the association, whether they be anglophone or francophone, may participate in the executive committee of the ARTC/ACTR.
