2002 ACTR Conference / Congrès de l’ARTC 2002


The next annual conference of the Association for Canadian Theatre Research will be held at the University of Toronto from Saturday 25 May to Tuesday 28 May, as part of the Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities. We look forward to a full program with several special events, and invite your participation.

Proposals are sought in all areas of the Association’s mandate, which includes the full range of research by our membership into theatre history, theory, pedagogy and practice, both Canadian and international. We invite those submitting proposals to consider that the stated theme of the Congress is "Boundaries"; but all proposals will be considered equally.

Those interested in participating should submit proposals in the form of an abstract (maximum 250 words). Proposals (maximum 500 words) for panels on a specific theme, consisting of three or four participants, will also be considered.

Please note that presenters must be paid-up ACTR members at the time of their presentation. For those who are new to the Association when making a proposal, a brief resume/bio would be helpful.
