Call for Papers
The
next ACTR annual conference will be held May 28 to 31, 2005, at the
University
of Western Ontario, as part of the 2005 Congress of the Social Sciences
and
Humanities. The programming committee invites conference papers on
topics
related to the Association’s mandate, which includes the full range of
research
by our membership into theatre history, theory, pedagogy and practice,
both
Canadian and international. In particular we invite proposals relating
to the
general conference themes:
Paradoxes of Citizenship:
Environments, Exclusions,
Equity
Actors,
designers, directors, playwrights and educators are particularly
encouraged to
share their work in the form of workshops, performance pieces or
demonstrations.
Please
forward proposals in the form of a 250-word (maximum) abstract
preferably by
email not later than November 30, 2004 to:
